About the Role
As a Metal Finishing Specialist, you will play a critical role in the final stages of production by ensuring that precision-machined components meet exact quality standards. You will utilize your expertise with hand tools and grinding equipment to refine surfaces, ensuring every part is free of imperfections and ready for its final application.
Responsibilities-
Execute precise deburring and finishing techniques to enhance the quality of metal components.

Operate various finishing tools, including sanders and grinders, to remove surface irregularities and sharp edges.

Interpret complex engineering drawings, blueprints, and production travelers to ensure accurate part processing.

Conduct thorough visual and tactile inspections to verify that finished parts align with strict quality specifications.

Proactively identify and troubleshoot finishing challenges to maintain consistent production flow.

Manage the preparation, washing, and staging of components to keep the production line moving efficiently.

Document production data accurately and adhere to all internal quality management system (QMS) protocols.
Qualifications-
High school diploma or equivalent.

3-6 months of hands-on experience in a manufacturing or metal finishing environment.

Proficiency in using manual and power tools for material removal and surface refinement.

Demonstrated ability to read and understand technical blueprints and process documentation.

Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.

Prior experience with precision-machined parts and complex assemblies.
