Duties
- Perform hardwood floor installation, refinishing, and repair with attention to detail and craftsmanship.
- Execute demolition tasks including removal of existing flooring, cabinetry, fixtures, and other building materials safely and efficiently.
- Install epoxy floors, vinyl, tile, carpet, and other flooring types according to project specifications and technical drawings.
- Use hand tools, power tools, schematics, and blueprint reading to interpret construction plans accurately.
- Conduct water damage restoration and floor care procedures to restore surfaces to their original condition.
- Ensure all work complies with building installation safety standards and site safety protocols.
- Assist in remodeling projects by performing caulking, trim carpentry, fixture installation, painting, concrete finishing, and buffing as needed.
Skill
- Proficiency in epoxy floor installation, tile laying, vinyl floor installation, and floor refinishing techniques.
- Skilled in using hand tools and power tools for various building material installations.
- Strong manual handling abilities for lifting heavy materials safely on construction sites.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, blueprints, and construction plans accurately.
- Knowledge of water damage restoration processes and floor care maintenance.
- Experience with blueprint reading and understanding schematics for complex installations.
- Familiarity with construction site safety compliance standards and best practices.
- Hands-on experience in cabinet installation, remodeling, handyman tasks, construction painting, concrete finishing, restoration industry practices, and fixture installation.
