Select Media is seeking dependable and enthusiastic Broadcast Event Production Team Members to join our growing crew for live sports, entertainment, and special event productions.
All Independent Contractor Positions may include:
- Camera Operators / Videographers

- Other Live Event Production Roles
Qualifications:
- Experience in live event or broadcast production is preferred but not required.
- Students and aspiring media professionals are encouraged to apply.
- Training is available for motivated candidates.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and event-based schedules as needed.
- Strong communication skills and a positive team attitude.

Duties:
- Be on time. This is live television—seconds matter.
- Assist with setup and breakdown of production equipment.
- Operate cameras and other broadcast equipment as assigned.
- Work with broadcast hardware and software, including switchers, Ross XPression graphics systems, and replay systems.
- Maintain focus and follow established shooting patterns during live sporting events.
- Update graphics accurately during live broadcasts.
- Follow direction in a fast-paced live production environment.
- Provide direction and communication when assigned leadership responsibilities.
- Stand for extended periods during events (typically 2.5–4 hours).
Skills:
- Strong videography and/or live production skills.
- Familiarity with live graphics operation, replay systems, or broadcast workflows is a plus.
- Professional typing and data-entry skills for graphics positions.
- Ability to troubleshoot audio, video, and broadcast equipment issues.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in stadium, arena, or event environments.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
