Organization, flexibility, excellent customer focus and strong communication are critical in performing duties which include, but are not limited to:
Supervise the overall financial health of projects:
- Develop and maintain project financial projections and equipment projections
- Develop & allocate project estimate into financial system with accounting team
- Assign cost codes, approve invoices, and make necessary budget management decisions
- Provide financials and billings to Accounting for timely payment
- Create monthly owner billings
- Create Subcontracts for subcontractors & suppliers
Manage subcontracts/suppliers & Shaw-Lundquist Staff for the project:
- Maintain the budget for and make selections of trade partners and suppliers
- Handle billings and contract management, including contract buyouts
- Handle cost or performance disputes with Subcontractors or Suppliers
- Lead Field Engineer(s) & Project Engineer(s)
- Provide job assignments and manage career development of support staff
- Approve time cards for on-site team members
- Provide ongoing feedback of work performance for FE/PE
- Ensure project team members are following Established Processes
Function as the main point of contact with the owner and on-site representative:
- Assist with the review of the owner agreement
- Resolve site concerns for the owner or representative
- Function as the main point of contact with the owner and on-site representative
- Provide frequent interactions and service to build positive relationships and future work opportunities
Execute scope changes & change orders:
- Decide when to submit scope changes to the owner or on-site representatives
- Obtain the customer/architect’s approval
- Process owner change orders
