Pre- K Paraprofessional
POSITION LOCATION: SIDNEY DEENER
QUALIFICATIONS:

Must hold an Associate's Degree or have passed the Paraprofessional Praxis Exam.
EVALUATION- Paraprofessionals will be evaluated by the Pre-K Director and/or the Pre-K Classroom Teacher.
REPORTS TO: Pre-K Teacher/Pre-K Director/Principal
Nature of work: Assisting the classroom teacher in creating an inviting, learning environment , which fosters the personal growth of preschool children; nutures attitudes, skills, and knowledge necessary for future success in school; helps to build ties between home and school.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Provides an inviting learning environment.

Helps teachers with managing groups in a classroom setting.

Displays a passion for preschool children and helping them become successful educationally.

Assisting in the day to day activities of the classroom.

Assisting in the check-in, check-out, and lunch prodedures

Following all school processes and protocols.
