Fluvitex is looking for an experienced Quality Coordinator to join our team. We are a manufacturer of Quilts and Pillows located in the Groveport area in a new facility that was opened in 2018.
At Fluvitex, the Quality Coordinator oversees and monitors the inspection and testing of materials and products to ensure adherence to established quality standards. Establishes inspection protocols, defines sampling procedures, and determines equipment and mechanisms to be used in the testing process.

Summary
- The position requires a deep understanding of the Fluvitex Quality system and the GONOGO audit requirements. The main role is to secure the implementation of the Fluvitex Quality Manual on the production floor and reinforce our Quality system, making sure the established procedures are followed in coordination with the production teams.
Main duties and responsibilities of the post
· Coordinate quality and compliance agenda with customer (IKEA): Lead audits, initiate corrective actions, and ‘Root-Cause Analysis’ when needed. Oversee and maintain IKEA compliance systems; Connect, DWP, CASY, PDOC.
· Coordinate communication and instruct sub-suppliers, vendors, or contractors on quality guidelines, testing procedures, or compliance requirements.
· Provide official regulatory and customer responses.
· Register, structure, and maintain all verification documents and product information required.
· Lead samples creation program to complete the new articles start-up successfully on time.
· Calibrate and monitor the performance of Production Associates involved in the Quality Control process. Provide cross-training and support when needed.
· Participate in the daily Pass-down meeting and work directly with production supervisors to ensure needed corrective actions and follow-up pending projects (tests, RCAs, samples, etc.)
· Other duties as assigned or as needed
Education, Skills, and Experience Requirements, Salary
Required Education: Applicable college degree and/or equivalent experience.
· Prior experience: 1 year or more in the quality, compliance, or customer relations field.
· Computing: Microsoft Office package and the internet.
· Languages: Must have the ability to read, write, and understand English. Bilingual in Spanish or Nepali is highly valued.
· Skills: Ability to write procedures and reports, mathematical and scientific language understanding, multi-tasking, able to work under pressure, detail-oriented, and good social skills.
· Salary: 50,000 – 60,000
