Job Summary
Currently assigned to the Monee Location. If internal transfers occur prior to starting the position, the successful candidate shall be assigned to either Caton Farm, or Joliet WCDOT Facilities. Operates and maintains a variety of trucks, including pick-up, two (2) and three (3) axle vehicles, dump trucks, snowplows, flatbed trailers, mowing tractors, and various other light equipment. Safely maintains roadways and right of ways within the Will County Division of Transportation system.
Minimum Qualifications
High school graduation or equivalency required. Three (3) years in a Maintenance Worker type position or similar background with operating familiarity of department vehicles and equipment used is required. Possession of a valid CDL Class A or B with Air Brakes endorsement required. Lift up to 100 pounds and successfully pass a pre-employment lifting assessment and a pre-employment physical.
Salary Range
