We are currently seeking a Wholesale Produce Lead to manage our day-to-day produce activities. Your primary focus will be on upholding high quality standards, maintaining precise inventory records, adhering to food safety protocols, and delivering superior service to our clients. You will work a standard schedule of Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with a requirement to be available every third Sunday depending on operational demands.
Core Duties

Direct the everyday functions of the produce department and its personnel.

Uphold high standards for product freshness and manage stock levels effectively.

Oversee the procurement, intake, and processing of customer orders.

Help maintain a safe working environment by ensuring strict adherence to food safety and organizational policies.

Reduce waste by effectively monitoring product turnover and rotation.

Foster strong, lasting connections with both our suppliers and our clientele.

Contribute to the achievement of departmental sales targets and overall business objectives.
Required Skills and Experience

At least three years of professional background in wholesale, grocery, or produce settings.

Prior experience in a leadership or supervisory capacity is highly desirable.

Demonstrate exceptional abilities in leadership, communication, and organizational management.

Possess a solid understanding of inventory management, produce handling, and food safety regulations.

Help maintain operational readiness by being able to lift up to 50 lbs and work within cold storage areas.
