Selections Coordinator
B&G Construction is seeking an experienced Selections Coordinator to serve as the critical link between our sales, design, and production teams. This role ensures every client experiences a seamless journey from initial design consultation through contract execution and project hand-off. The ideal candidate brings deep knowledge of residential remodeling, a talent for client relations, and the organizational horsepower to manage multiple concurrent projects with precision.

Our services include new construction, whole home improvements, kitchen and bathroom remodels, decks, screened-in porches, pavilions, commercial renovations, and additions.

Key Responsibilities
Design & Sales Support
· Work closely with the sales team through all phases of the sales process, from initial prospect interaction through contract execution
· Facilitate design meetings, selections appointments, and site evaluations with clients, subcontractors, and vendors
· Ensure clients and design partners stay within established allowances and understand the budget impact of their selections
· Coordinate with design partners to deliver solutions that address client needs within appropriate timeframes
· Perform site visits independently to gather measurements, photos, and notes on existing conditions
· Serve as backup to the salesperson for initial client follow-up calls, explaining B&G’s value proposition and scheduling appointments
Proposal & Contract Writing
- Assemble and write detailed, client-facing proposals and construction contracts including all required documentation
- Assist with architectural/engineering drawings, cabinet drawings, and electrical layouts as applicable
- Develop client-selected finishes and fixture schedules, primary production schedules, and project budgets
- Obtain and evaluate quotes from vendors and material suppliers
- Track and execute signed proposals and change orders, including electronic signature processing, payment collection, and client acknowledgements
Material Procurement & Management
- Order all project materials within budget and track critical delivery dates
- Check in delivered materials to verify correct model, finish, and quantity
- Manage subcontract writing and execution for all applicable scopes of work
- Monitor procurement closely to ensure zero-defect project starts
Project Hand-Off & Production Transition
- Create comprehensive production packages to set the field team up for success
- Facilitate pre-construction meetings and introduce the Production Manager to the client
- Relay all critical project details—design intent, client preferences, material specs—to the production team
- Participate in project kick-off, punch lists, and final closeout as needed
Skills and Qualifications
Client Relations & Communication
- History of delivering a delightful, fulfilling client experience throughout the design, pre-construction, and post-construction processes
- Clear verbal and written communication with clients, subcontractors, vendors, inspectors, and project managers
- Professional representation of B&G Construction at all client and vendor touchpoints
- Ability to translate complex project details into easy-to-understand written proposals
Technical & Industry Knowledge
- In-depth knowledge of residential remodeling including trades, materials, and construction best practices
- Proficiency in material takeoffs and ordering fixtures, cabinets, and finish materials
- Familiarity with project management software (e.g., Buildertrend) and standard office tools (Excel, email, document sharing)
- Ability to read and coordinate architectural, cabinet, and electrical drawings
Organization & Project Management
- Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent proposals and projects simultaneously without dropping the ball
- Strong documentation and reporting habits—detailed logs, budgets, schedules, and selection records
- Results-oriented mindset with a focus on on-time, on-budget, zero-defect project delivery
- Initiative to identify process improvements and build organizational efficiency

Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in residential construction selections, design coordination, or a closely related role
- Demonstrated history of managing multiple concurrent proposals with numerous moving parts
- Proficiency with computers and project management software
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel throughout Northern Virginia for site visits and meetings
- Strong written communication skills for client-facing proposals and contracts

Experience:

Pay: From $60,000.00 per year
