The organization oversees multiple operating entities, investments, projects, and business initiatives across several industries and is seeking a highly capable executive leader to help coordinate operations, improve accountability, and support ownership.
Position Summary
The Chief of Staff – Ownership & Operations serves as the operational extension of ownership and executive leadership. This position is responsible for coordinating organizational priorities, driving accountability, improving communication, and ensuring that ownership receives timely, concise, and actionable information.
Working directly with ownership and organizational leaders, the Chief of Staff helps establish reporting expectations, operational rhythms, accountability systems, and executive communication processes across multiple businesses and operating divisions.
As trust and organizational familiarity develop, the role may assume increasing levels of operational authority and delegated decision-making responsibility.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary liaison between ownership and leadership teams.
- Coordinate executive priorities and organizational initiatives.
- Develop departmental reporting requirements and accountability systems.
- Monitor weekly reporting, deliverables, and key performance indicators.
- Coordinate activities among multiple departments and operating entities.
- Identify operational risks, issues, delays, and obstacles.
- Escalate matters requiring immediate ownership attention.
- Prepare executive summaries, recommendations, and action plans.
- Track executive decisions and ensure implementation.
- Lead special projects and operational improvement initiatives.
