Quality, Safety, Health & Environmental (QSHE) Specialist
Location: Data Center Warehouse Operations
Position Summary
The Quality, Safety, Health & Environmental (QSHE) Coordinator is responsible for supporting workplace safety, regulatory compliance, environmental programs, and quality initiatives within a data center warehouse environment. This role works closely with warehouse operations, inventory teams, contractors, and site leadership to help ensure a safe, compliant, and efficient workplace.
The QSHE Coordinator conducts safety inspections, assists with training programs, maintains compliance documentation, investigates incidents, and supports continuous improvement efforts. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and passionate about promoting a culture of safety and operational excellence.
Essential Responsibilities
Safety & Compliance
- Conduct routine safety inspections and warehouse walkthroughs to identify hazards and ensure compliance with company policies and OSHA requirements.
- Support incident, injury, and near-miss investigations and assist in implementing corrective actions.
- Monitor employee and contractor adherence to safety procedures, PPE requirements, and safe work practices.
- Maintain safety records, inspection logs, and required compliance documentation.
- Assist in delivering safety training and onboarding programs.
- Participate in emergency response planning, drills, and preparedness activities.
- Help ensure compliance with OSHA, environmental, and company standards.
Environmental Support
- Assist with environmental compliance programs, including waste management and recycling initiatives.
- Maintain Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and chemical inventory records.
- Support proper storage, handling, and disposal of hazardous materials.
- Conduct routine environmental inspections and report findings.
Quality Programs
- Assist with quality audits and process reviews within warehouse operations.
- Support inventory accuracy, material handling standards, and procedural compliance.
- Document findings and work with operational teams to implement improvements.
- Track and report quality and safety performance metrics.
Reporting & Documentation
- Maintain training records and compliance documentation.
- Prepare routine reports related to safety, quality, and environmental activities.
- Track corrective actions to ensure timely completion.
- Assist during audits and regulatory inspections.
Qualifications
Required
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
- 1-3 years of experience in safety, compliance, warehouse operations, manufacturing, logistics, or a related environment.
- Working knowledge of OSHA safety requirements.
- Experience conducting inspections, audits, or compliance reviews.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred
- Experience in a warehouse, distribution center, manufacturing facility, or data center environment.
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification.
- CPR/First Aid certification.
- Experience with incident reporting and corrective action tracking.
- Familiarity with environmental, health, and safety management systems.
Pay: $55,000.00 - $58,000.00 per year
