Hillcrest Christian Academy, an independent, PreK-12 Christian school with a vibrant student population located in the South Hills of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, invites applications for a full-time elementary teacher position for the 2026-2027 school year.
The Academy seeks an experienced elementary teacher who will foster a deep love of learning and engage students in understanding and inquiry within an environment of student care. The Academy requires not only professional demeanor and solid Christian role modeling but also a deep engagement with the Academy’s learning community.
The applicant should be able to teach all early childhood subjects well. The successful candidate will create a stimulating environment where students can meet their full potential through differentiated instruction.
Academy faculty must be collaborative and exhibit a growth mindset. Effective communication with parents and colleagues is crucial to student success and as such is non-negotiable at the Academy. Faculty members are responsible for communicating via formal, scheduled parent-teacher conferences and progress reporting, as well as via additional conferences and informal communications. Faculty are responsible for maintaining up-to-date records of academic performance through the support of a web-based school information management system to which students and parents regularly refer.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30,000.00 - $32,000.00 per year
