Capital Pizza is a long-standing local institution with a strong connection to the Lubbock and Texas Tech community. Our pizza is a cut above and we love rolling in the dough! We are seeking motivated individuals that work well with others to join our kitchen team.
Responsibilities will include:
- Wrapping dough for prep
- Rolling out dough to size
- Prepping ingredients and meals (must be comfortable using sharp knives and a scorching hot oven)
- Crafting delicious pizzas and sandwiches
- Washing dishes
- Keeping the kitchen clean and organized
- Working as a team and taking initiative to acheive success
- Following food safety protocols (applicant will need to acquire food safety card in first month of employment)
Experience:
- Prior experience in a kitchen environment is desirable but not necessary.
- Knowledge of food industry safety standards will be taken into consideration
- Familiarity with using ovens, knives, and other kitchen equipment (can openers, mixers, etc) safely would be beneficial
- Good communication skills and calm temperement will be necessary to succeed in this fast paced environment
Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour
