American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a high-functioning Progressive Care Unit position requiring cardiac telemetry experience and a NC or compact RN license.

Work in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) of a hospital setting
-
Care for a high-level, high-functioning PCU population including multiple long-term patients
-
Patient ratio of 1:5
-
Day shift schedule with 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
-
Weekend rotation required
-
Holiday rotation required
-
No on-call responsibilities
-
Floating required to any campus within the health system as needed
-
Uses Epic EMR
-
Active NC or compact RN license required in hand at time of consideration

Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
-
Cardiac telemetry experience required
-
Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
-
Experience with management and interpretation of dysrhythmias
-
Experience with peripheral line care/management and PICC line management
-
Experience titrating drips
-
Epic EMR experience required
-
Must pass a Pass/Fail EKG exam during compliance, with two attempts allowed

Current driver's license required to verify address
-
Provide high-level cardiac telemetry nursing care to a stepdown patient population
-
Responsibilities include dysrhythmia management, peripheral and PICC line care, and titration of cardiac drips
