Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Family Law Attorney to join our dynamic team remotely. This entry-level position offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in family law while developing your legal skills across various practice areas. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a passion for legal advocacy, excellent research and writing abilities, and a commitment to providing exceptional client service.
Responsibilities
- Assist in managing family law cases, including divorce, child custody, and support matters
- Draft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and settlement agreements with precision and clarity
- Prepare for court depositions and trial proceedings by organizing case files and evidence
- Communicate effectively with clients, providing updates and legal counsel throughout case progression
- Support attorneys in procedural law compliance, court filings, and case management tasks
- Participate in negotiations related to settlement discussions and legal disputes
Requirements
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school or equivalent legal qualification
- Admission to the state bar of Michigan or eligibility for admission as a junior attorney / entry-level candidate
- Strong knowledge of family law procedures, statutory regulations, and courtroom etiquette
- Proven ability to draft legal documents accurately and efficiently
- Effective communication skills for client interaction and team collaboration
- Demonstrated organizational skills with experience in legal case management software
- A proactive attitude with enthusiasm for learning across diverse legal areas

Pay: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
