New Philadelphia Moravian Preschool is looking for teachers to join our teaching team! We offer a close-knit, child centered work environment providing quality care for the children and families we serve. Experience with infants and toddlers required (formal or informal). Degree in education preferred. Teacher will work within a teaching team of two with their co-teacher. Responsibilities include planning and executing activities that are developmentally appropriate and meet individual safety, physical, cognitive, and social emotional needs of the children.
Additionally, the applicant must be able to create a warm and accepting environment for children, parents, and staff. Must be comfortable and efficient with daily and weekly communication with parents.
Work week is Monday through Friday totaling 20-22.5 hours per week, following WSFC school calendar for holidays, breaks, and closures. The school year runs from September to May. Daily working hours are 8:30-12:30 with the option to work an additional half hour each day for "lunch bunch".
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $17.50 per hour
