Position Summary:
Craftex is seeking friendly, dependable, full-time cashiers to join our retail team. This role requires excellent customer service, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Weekend and holiday availability is required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems to process sales, returns, and exchanges accurately
- Provide exceptional customer service and create a welcoming shopping experience
- Assist with restocking, pricing, maintaining a clean front-end area and helping in other relevant departments, answering phones and handling customer inquiries
- Work closely with team members and managers to ensure efficient store operations
- Handle cash and card transactions with accuracy and professionalism
Qualifications:
- English REQUIRED (Bilingual is a plus)
- Must be reliable, friendly, and able to multitask
- Prior retail experience preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Be able to stand on your feet during your entire shift and able to lift up to 20 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable transportation REQUIRED
Compensation & Schedule:
- Hourly pay: $12.00 plus, depending on experience
- Full-time hours; weekend and holiday availability required
- Potential for overtime hours is available
