Hours: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

As a Payroll Coordinator, you'll be responsible for processing payroll, maintaining employee payroll records, resolving payroll-related questions, and supporting compliance with payroll policies and procedures. You'll work closely with Human Resources, Accounting, and management teams to ensure smooth and accurate payroll administration.
As a Payroll Coordinator, you’ll process payroll, maintain records, and support audits. You’ll also handle employee data, verify timekeeping, and assist with year-end activities. Your role is vital in keeping payroll accurate, timely, and compliant, making sure our team is paid correctly every cycle.
What You’ll Do
As a Payroll Coordinator, you will be responsible for:
- Processing weekly, bi-weekly, or semi-monthly payroll accurately and on schedule
- Maintaining employee payroll records, including direct deposit info, tax forms, deductions, and garnishments
- Reviewing payroll data for accuracy and resolving discrepancies prior to processing
- Processing new hire info, employee changes, terminations, and leave adjustments within payroll systems
- Verifying employee time records and coordinating corrections as needed
- Maintaining payroll reports and supporting payroll audits
- Assisting with year-end activities like W-2 processing and reporting
- Collaborating with HR and Accounting to keep records accurate and up to date
What You’ll Bring
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting, Business, Human Resources, or a related field preferred
- 1-3 years of payroll, administrative, accounting, or HR experience
- Knowledge of payroll processes, employee deductions, taxes, and garnishments preferred
- Experience with payroll software such as ADP, Paychex, Paycom, UKG, Workday, or similar systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook
- Strong discretion and professionalism handling confidential information
- Ability to work independently and with a team in a fast-paced environment
