Job Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Experience Flexo Folder Gluer Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining flexographic printing presses and converting machines that produce high-quality paper packaging and folding cartons. Your expertise will ensure that production runs smoothly, safety standards are upheld, and quality specifications are consistently met. Duties
- Operate flexo press and folder gluer machinery efficiently, ensuring optimal performance throughout production runs
- Interpret and follow production documents, including job tickets, work orders, and quality standards to meet customer specifications
- Conduct routine mechanical troubleshooting and adjustments on converting machines to prevent downtime and maintain product quality
- Perform dimensional measurements and quality inspections on finished products to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in production
- Handle manual tasks such as paper loading, stacking, and packaging while adhering to safety protocols
- Maintain accurate records of machine settings, production counts, and quality checks for each batch
- Follow safety standards in production by using appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and adhering to safety protocol guidelines
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot industrial equipment issues quickly and effectively
- Experience operating flexo presses, folder gluers, and other converting machines within a manufacturing environment
- Familiarity with prepress processes, printing techniques, and quality standards in production environments
- Ability to interpret manufacturing documents accurately and apply them during machine setup and operation
- Basic math skills for measuring dimensions, calculating adjustments, and verifying quantities
- Knowledge of forklift operation for material handling within the production area
- Understanding of safety standards in manufacturing, including safe manual handling practices and machinery operation protocols
