You will be the Tool Design Engineer for the Missiles and Fire Control team in Ocala. Our team is responsible for designing dies, gauges, jigs, fixtures, prototype models, and robotics end-of-arm tooling for production or experimental purposes.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Tool Design Engineer, you will be responsible for utilizing 3D modeling software to conceptualize, create, and integrate industrial machinery, equipment, and tools. Your responsibilities will include:
- Designing dies, gauges, jigs, fixtures, harness boards, prototype models, and robotics end-of-arm tooling for production or experimental purposes.
- Accounting for various factors such as accessibility, ergonomics, safety, economy, mobility, and performance requirements while developing solutions.
Designs, develops and implements industrial machinery and equipment, tools, dies, gauges, jigs, fixtures, prototype model production and machine attachments required for production or experimental use, considering such factors as accessibility, economy, mobility, and performance requirements. May use CAD/CAM to design tools.
