Join our dynamic team as a Paving Laborer and become a vital part of creating durable, high-quality roadways and surfaces!
Duties
- Assist with preparing job sites by clearing debris, setting up barriers, and ensuring safety zones are properly established
- Load, unload, and transport paving materials
- Operate basic equipment under supervision
- Help with the placement and spreading of asphalt according to project specifications
- Follow safety protocols diligently to maintain a secure work environment for yourself and your team
- Support the crew in measuring and marking areas to ensure precise paving lines
- Maintain cleanliness of tools and work areas throughout the shift to promote efficiency and safety
Experience
- No prior experience required; we value enthusiasm and a willingness to learn!
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting heavy materials and standing for extended periods
- Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude and good communication abilities
- Basic understanding of construction or paving processes is a plus but not necessary
- Willingness to follow detailed instructions and adhere to safety guidelines at all times
