Job Summary
We are seeking a versatile and hardworking Tire Warehouse Associate to join our warehouse team. This role is responsible for a variety of warehouse tasks including printing labels, bundling tires, operating a forklift, and supporting general warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will be adaptable, detail-oriented, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Print and apply labels for tire shipments, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company standards.
- Bundle and secure tires using appropriate strapping and wrapping techniques.
- Operate a forklift to load and unload tires from storage areas, racks, and delivery vehicles.
- Support general warehouse duties, including inventory management, organization, and cleanliness.
- Inspect tires for defects, damage, or irregularities before bundling and shipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace by following company safety guidelines and warehouse procedures.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to meet daily production and shipping goals.
- Perform other warehouse duties as assigned by supervisors.
Qualifications & Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
- Previous experience in a warehouse or tire-handling environment is a plus.
- Ability to operate a forklift (certification preferred but not required).
- Proficiency with basic warehouse equipment, including pallet jacks and strapping tools.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a team setting.
- Ability to lift, stack, and bundle tires weighing up to 75 lbs.
- Capability to stand, bend, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and move heavy tires manually and with equipment.
- Comfortable working in a warehouse setting with varying temperatures.
- Capable of performing physically demanding tasks, including bending, kneeling, and prolonged standing.
