Your Role: The Clinical Foundation of Every Visit
This is a hands-on, patient-facing role at the heart of our clinical operations. As a Clinic Technician, you are not just running tests, you are setting the tone for the doctor's exam, gathering information that drives diagnosis and treatment, and ensuring every patient feels informed and at ease from the moment they enter the lane.

Your Core Responsibilities & Competencies:
Clinical Testing & Patient Preparation:
- Perform pre-examination testing
- Operate and maintain diagnostic equipment
- Gather accurate patient histories and document chief complaints prior to the doctor's exam
- Prepare patients by explaining procedures clearly and ensuring their comfort throughout the visit
Clinical Support & Operations:
- Assist doctors with in-office treatments, minor procedures, and patient education.
- Maintain accurate, thorough records in our practice management system.
- Perform daily clinic opening and closing procedures, including equipment checks and room preparation.
- Keep clinical spaces clean, organized, and properly stocked.
Technology & Computer Proficiency
- Comfortable navigating computers, software interfaces, and multi-step digital workflows.
- Able to absorb new technology, software, and EHR processes with accuracy.
- Able to enter data correctly, switching between programs and troubleshooting basic issues.
- Adaptable with evolving tools and software.

- You have a natural ability to put patients at ease—especially those who are nervous or unfamiliar with eye care. Your manner is patient, clear, and genuinely kind.
- You manage your time well, maintain records, and help keep the clinic running smoothly even during busy stretches.
- You are confident with computers and technology and can learn new digital systems quickly
- You communicate openly with doctors, opticians, and front desk staff to ensure a seamless patient journey from check-in to checkout. You are reliable, punctual, and uphold strict patient confidentiality (HIPAA).
- Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred
