American Traveler is seeking a Radiation Therapist with Ohio licensure, ARRT certification, and proficiency in Varian TrueBeam and Halcyon linacs for a 13-week hospital-based assignment with evening shift hours.

Hospital-based Radiation Therapy department

Evening shift hours from 11:00 AM to 7:30 PM, Monday through Friday
-
8.5-hour shifts with a 30-minute lunch break; 10-hour shifts during holiday weeks

No on-call or weekend requirements

Uses Varian TrueBeam and Halcyon linacs

Uses Aria version 15 for EMR
-
40 hours per week expected

Active Ohio Radiation Therapist license required if applicable

Active ARRT (Radiation Therapy Technology) certification required

Current BLS and ACLS certifications required

Full competency with Varian TrueBeam linacs, Halcyon, and Aria version 15

2 professional references required: at least 1 from a Manager, Director, or Supervisor; a Charge RN is acceptable as the second reference; no coworker references accepted

Ohio state fingerprinting must be completed promptly upon accepting the position

Experience with VisionRT or OSMS is preferred but not required

First week of assignment is an onboarding shift, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM

Black scrub pants required; any top color is acceptable

No RTO (time off) will be approved in June or July; RTO must be submitted at time of consideration and built into the contract, limited to 7 days or less

Local candidates are accepted

Former facility employees are eligible for a travel assignment after a minimum 6-month separation from the facility

Ohio fingerprinting is required and must be initiated as soon as possible after booking; candidates outside Ohio may need to travel to an in-state fingerprinting location or will receive a mailed fingerprinting packet
