We are currently hiring Special Event Security Officers to provide a safe and welcoming environment for guests attending outdoor events held in public parks and open venues. This position requires professional, customer-focused individuals who are comfortable standing for extended periods while maintaining a visible security presence.
- Event Dates: August 29th and August 30th
Position Responsibilities
- Provide a highly visible security presence throughout the event.
- Staff assigned standing posts and designated access points.
- Observe and report suspicious activity, safety concerns, or policy violations.
- Monitor guest behavior and assist with crowd management.
- Verify authorized access to restricted areas when assigned.
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting guests with directions and general information.
- Communicate effectively with event staff, supervisors, and emergency personnel.
- Complete incident reports accurately and professionally.
- Respond to emergencies following company procedures.
- Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid California Guard Card (or applicable state security license).
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.
- Ability to remain alert and attentive in a busy outdoor environment.
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
- Previous event security experience is preferred but not required.
Physical Requirements
- Stand for long periods during assigned shifts.
- Work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Maintain awareness in a fast-paced event environment.
- Lift up to 25 pounds when necessary.
