Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems and schematics to identify issues accurately.
- Conduct repairs on mechanical systems including engines, transmissions, suspensions, brakes, shocks & struts, and powertrain components.
- Execute routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire services, etc.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other specialized tools to repair and replace automotive parts efficiently.
- Repair advanced systems like ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) and auto body components while adhering to manufacturer specifications.
- Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical problems effectively.
- Provide exceptional customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring vehicles meet quality standards before return.
Requirements
- Proven experience working in the automotive repair industry with dealership experience preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge across automotive systems including engines, transmissions, electrical systems, and suspension components.
- Proficiency with automotive diagnostics tools and schematics for accurate troubleshooting.
- Ability to perform precise repairs such as brake repairs, oil changes, and shocks & struts replacement.
- Familiarity with automotive electrical systems and auto estimating processes is advantageous.
- Valid certification or licensing related to automotive repair; ASE certification is highly desirable.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on professionalism and communication.
