Title: Paraprofessional (Part-Time or Full-Time)
Position Description:
Moscow Charter School is seeking a caring, dependable, and student-focused Paraprofessional to support teachers and students in the classroom and throughout the school environment. This position provides instructional, behavioral, and supervisory support to help students succeed academically, socially, and emotionally. Work assignments may vary based on student needs, grade levels, and school priorities.
Typical Schedule:School-day schedule determined by student and program needs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide instructional support to individual students and small groups under the direction of certified staff.
- Assist teachers with implementing lessons, activities, interventions, and classroom routines.
- Support students in developing academic, organizational, and social-emotional skills.
- Assist with classroom preparation, organization, and instructional materials.
- Monitor and supervise students in classrooms, hallways, lunch periods, recess, field trips, and other assigned settings.
- Promote positive student behavior and reinforce school expectations.
- Support students with assigned accommodations, modifications, or intervention plans as directed.
- Maintain confidentiality regarding student information and educational records.
- Communicate professionally and effectively with teachers, administrators, families, and other staff members.
- Observe and report student progress, concerns, or incidents to appropriate staff.
- Assist with arrival, dismissal, transitions, and other school operations as assigned.
- Follow established safety procedures and school policies.
- Perform other related duties as assigned to support student learning and school operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Ability to work effectively with students, staff, and families.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Ability to perform physical duties including standing, walking, bending, reaching, and occasional lifting.
- Previous experience working with children or in an educational setting is preferred but not required.
Work Environment:
This position works primarily in classroom and school settings and involves regular interaction with students. Duties may include indoor and outdoor supervision and require frequent movement throughout the school campus.

Salary:
Competitive and commensurate with experience and qualifications.
$14.20–$15.00 per hour
