We are seeking an experienced and motivated Security Dispatcher to join our team. In this role, you will support all facets of event security dispatch and training for Player 15 Group, while playing a key role in broader department initiatives.
Your Role on the Team
- Directly oversee Event Security Control Center during events.
- Assist with training, onboarding, and development of Security staff.
- Support hiring and staffing initiatives as assigned by leadership.
- Establish and then train dispatch staff on clear and concise protocols for dispatch operations to maintain consistency between events.
- Assist the Sr. Manager of Training in the preparation and execution of training materials and can moderate training sessions.
- Ensure staff are properly positioned, equipped, and prepared to perform assigned security responsibilities.
- Enforce arena policies, procedures, safety rules, and the NBA Fan Code of Conduct consistently and professionally.
- Monitor crowd behavior throughout events to identify safety concerns, suspicious activity, or policy violations.
- Respond promptly and appropriately to incidents, alarms, emergencies, and escalated guest situations.
- Provide clear direction and assistance to Team Members during emergency situations, evacuations, and re-entry processes.
- Immediately report suspicious activity, unattended items, injuries, safety violations, or facility concerns to leadership.
- Prepare clear, accurate, and timely incident and incident reports.
- Maintain strong situational awareness inside and outside the arena, including patrol and response responsibilities.
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of arena layout, services, and amenities to assist team members with directions and inquiries.
- Serve as an information resource for event-specific details and team member questions in a professional and courteous manner.
- Identify opportunities to enhance the security experience while maintaining safety and security priorities.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive, proprietary, and personal information in accordance with organizational policies.
- Perform additional duties as assigned based on event and non-event needs.
- Must be able to work 90% of the events.

- High school diploma or GED
- Promotion eligibility from Security roles.
- Demonstrated mastery and consistent proficiency in all essential functions, policies, procedures, and performance expectations of the employee’s current role (Event Security Officer, Security Specialist, or Security Team Captain).
- Minimum of two (2) years of security dispatch experience preferred.
- Minimum of three (3) years of customer service experience preferred.
- Prior leadership or supervisory experience strongly preferred.
- Military and/or law enforcement experience is a plus.
