We are seeking an Mechanical Assembly position to join our team at California Vibratory Feeders, Inc. The Manufacturing Mechanical Assembly Technician is responsible for assembling mechanical components and finished products according to engineering drawings, work instructions, and quality standards. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, and takes pride in producing quality work.
Responsibilities
- Assemble mechanical components, subassemblies, and finished products.
- Read and interpret assembly drawings, blueprints, and work instructions.
- Use hand tools, power tools, measuring instruments, and shop equipment safely.
- Inspect completed assemblies for accuracy and quality.
- Troubleshoot and resolve minor assembly issues.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Work closely with supervisors and team members to meet production schedules.
- Follow company safety procedures and quality standards.
Requirements
- Strong mechanical knowledge relevant to manufacturing processes.
- Experience operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment.
- Previous mechanical assembly or manufacturing experience preferred.
- Strong mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to read measuring devices such as tape measures and calipers.
- Experience reading blueprints or assembly drawings is a plus.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Good attendance and reliability are essential.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
