Duties
- Prepare and serve high-quality coffee, beverages, and light food items with precision and care.
- Engage with customers warmly, taking orders accurately and providing friendly service to enhance their experience.
- Operate POS systems to process retail sales transactions efficiently.
- Handle cashing out customers, managing cash handling tasks with accuracy and integrity.
- Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards by following proper food handling procedures and food safety protocols.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure quick service without compromising quality.
- Assist in food preparation and serving, ensuring all items meet quality standards and presentation expectations.
Qualifications
- Previous barista experience or café experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is essential.
- Familiarity with POS systems is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and positively.
- Basic math skills for retail math, cash handling, and transaction processing.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work flexible hours including mornings, evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed.
