As we continue to grow, we are looking for a reliable, technically proficient Field Supervisor to join our team immediately to oversee active, high-priority projects in the field.
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Field Supervisor to act as the primary point of contact and lead on our job sites. You will be responsible for ensuring that installations—ranging from structured cabling and networking to sophisticated AV and lighting control—are executed to our high standards, on schedule, and within the scope of work. This is a critical role for an upcoming large-scale project, requiring a hands-on leader who can coordinate with other trades and manage our onsite team effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Site Management: Oversee daily onsite operations, ensuring quality control, adherence to technical specifications, and compliance with local safety codes.
- Team Coordination: Lead and mentor onsite technicians, provide troubleshooting support, and manage daily task distribution.
- Trade Liaison: Act as the primary onsite interface with general contractors, electricians, and other trades to ensure seamless integration and avoid scheduling conflicts.
- Project Execution: Execute and supervise the installation of:
- Automation & Lighting Control: Specifically Lutron (Athena/Lux) and Control4 environments.
- Networking: Enterprise-grade network infrastructure (Ubiquiti/Araknis).
- Security & Surveillance: Access control, video surveillance (IC Realtime/Digital Watchdog).
- AV & Cabling: Structured cabling, rack builds, and audiovisual system deployment.
- Reporting: Provide regular updates to management on project progress, material needs, and any potential field roadblocks.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a lead technician or field supervisor in the low-voltage industry.
- Strong technical proficiency with Control4 and Lutron lighting systems is highly preferred.
- Experience in commercial and high-end residential networking and security deployments.
- Ability to read and interpret construction blueprints, electrical schematics, and low-voltage wiring diagrams.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to coordinate with multiple trades and project stakeholders.
- Reliability, professional demeanor, and a commitment to high-quality craftsmanship.
- Must possess own tools and transportation.
