In the fire protection industry, every decision directly impacts the protection of life and property. The Deficiency Coordinator plays a pivotal role in this mission, serving as the operational backbone for our Project Managers. Operating in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment, you will coordinate critical communications between internal Account Managers, end customers, fire marshals, and our national network of Affiliate Partners. Your primary focus will be ensuring that fire protection system deficiencies are identified, quoted, approved, and repaired without delay. Duties and Responsibilities:
Supporting Project Managers in actively managing their accounts, with core responsibilities including:
- Communication & Liaison: Monitor email traffic and serve as the central point of contact between Account Managers, Customers, and Affiliate Partners to keep projects moving smoothly.
- Escalation Support: Ensure the Project Manager is immediately aware of high-priority or escalated issues, assisting with resolutions as needed.
- Quote Management: Upload repair quotes to customer service platforms for timely client review and approval.
- Work Order Dispatch: Efficiently dispatch approved work orders and Requests for Estimates (RFEs) to our Affiliate Partners.
- Project Oversight: Assist the Project Manager in tracking, vetting, and overseeing large-scale repair projects and the correction of deficient items.
- Account Setup: Assist in setting up and launching new central station monitoring accounts.
- Special Projects: Provide administrative and operational support on special projects as required by the Project Manager.
Qualifications:
- Multitasking & Organization: Proven ability to organize a heavy workload and manage multiple competing tasks simultaneously.
- Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with fire marshals, affiliates, and corporate clients.
- Technical Aptitude: Notable computer literacy with a strong aptitude for learning new software applications and customer service platforms quickly.
- Detail & Decisions: Exceptional attention to detail and sound decision-making skills in critical situations.
- Leadership & Teamwork: Possesses natural leadership capabilities while maintaining a collaborative, team-first attitude.
- Experience: 2 years of customer service or service coordination experience preferred.
- Resilience: Able to maintain focus, accuracy, and composure in a fast-paced, high-stress environment.
Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
