Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various facilities, ensuring a welcoming and hygienic environment for guests and staff. Prior experience in cleaning, hospitality, or janitorial services is preferred but not required, as training will be provided. Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, and facilities using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness in all assigned areas, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces
- Care for floors through sweeping, polishing, and specialized floor care techniques to ensure safety and appearance
- Restock supplies such as toiletries, linens, and amenities to ensure guest satisfaction
- Follow established safety protocols and procedures during cleaning tasks to promote a safe working environment
- Report maintenance issues or damages promptly to management for timely resolution
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations related to industrial cleaning and custodial work
- Assist with special cleaning projects or deep-cleaning tasks as needed within the facility
Qualifications
- Previous experience in cleaning, janitorial services, hotel housekeeping, or hospitality is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Knowledge of floor care techniques and industrial cleaning practices is a plus
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while following instructions carefully
- Good physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks involving standing, bending, lifting, and moving supplies or equipment
- Excellent time management skills to complete assigned duties efficiently within scheduled shifts
- Prior custodial or housekeeping management experience is beneficial for supervisory roles but not required
