Responsibilities
- Perform nail care services such as manicures, pedicures, gel nails, and nail extensions with precision and attention to detail.
- Maintain strict sanitation standards by properly cleaning tools and workstations after each service to ensure client safety.
- Utilize color theory knowledge to recommend suitable shades for nail art or cosmetic procedures that complement clients’ skin tones.
- Provide classroom and hands-on instruction in nail technology theory and practical skills.
- Prepare lesson plans and deliver engaging educational experiences.
- Mentor students in professionalism, customer service, and career readiness.
- Stay current with industry trends, techniques, and products.
- Adhere to all state board regulations and salon policies.
Qualifications
- Current state Nail Technician or Cosmetology license (required).
- Previous salon or spa experience preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of manicure, pedicure, gel polish, and nail enhancement services.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to maintain cleanliness and follow sanitation standards.
- Reliable, professional, and team-oriented.
