Lone Star Dairy Products is a dairy ingredient manufacturer in Canyon, Texas providing high quality dried milk powders, butter, and cream to customers throughout the US and globally.
Job Summary:
The Warehouse Operator is responsible for operating a forklift to remove full pallets of product off the shrink wrapping line and placing into inventory. This position requires a high level of attentiveness and the ability to manage multiple activities at once. There can be up to 3 lines running at once. This position is for the night shift (6pm-6am) and is on a 2 week rotating schedule.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Document inventory
- Ensure product meets packaging requirements and ensure correct pallets are being used
- Monitor shrink wrappers and adjust equipment set points as needed
- Pull product and stage for shipping as needed
- Complete cleaning tasks assigned to your area
- Verify that Lot Codes and printing is correct for product type and date
- Pull ingredients and supplies and stage for Production
- Follow written and verbal procedures
- Other tasks assigned by Supervisors and Managers
Employment Requirements:
- Must pass a drug screening
- Must be able to follow all safety policies and attend safety training
- Applicant must be able to work 12 hour night shifts on a rotating schedule
- Must complete a pre-employment physical
- Applicant must be able to wear a face covering and follow other health policies.
