Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Industrial Electrical Superintendent to oversee and manage electrical operations for new industrial construction projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of industrial electrical systems, project management expertise, and a proven track record of leading teams in a construction environment. This role requires a hands-on leader who ensures project timelines, budgets, and safety standards are met.
Key Responsibilities:
· Supervise and coordinate all on-site electrical activities for manufacturing new construction projects.
· Lead and manage electrical crews, subcontractors, and other personnel to ensure project goals are achieved.
· Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to guide installations and ensure compliance with project requirements.
· Monitor project progress, resolve any issues, and communicate updates to project managers and stakeholders.
· Ensure all work is performed in compliance with local, state, and national electrical codes and safety regulations.
· Collaborate with other trades and departments to ensure seamless project execution.
· Manage project budgets, schedules, and materials to prevent delays and cost overruns.
· Conduct site inspections to verify quality and adherence to project plans.
· Provide training and mentorship to team members to build a strong and knowledgeable workforce.
Qualifications:
· Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Electrical Superintendent in industrial/manufacturing construction.
· Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems, codes, and standards.
· Proven experience managing electrical teams and subcontractors on large-scale construction projects.
· Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
· Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
· Proficient in project management software and tools.
· OSHA certification and other safety credentials are preferred.
· Valid driver’s license and ability to travel as required.
