Job Summary
Seeking a hands-on Lab/Test Technician to support CPU/GPU post-silicon testing, validation, troubleshooting, and performance/power characterization of pre-production products.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and execute hardware performance, power, and thermal tests.
- Troubleshoot PC, CPU/GPU, boards, cables, and test platforms.
- Perform soldering, desoldering, component replacement, and basic PCB rework.
- Use lab equipment such as DMMs, oscilloscopes, power supplies, and electronic loads.
- Support lab debugging, data collection, and failure analysis.
- Document test results and work closely with engineering teams.
Requirements
- 0–2 years of relevant hands-on experience.
- Associate’s/Bachelor’s in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.
- Hands-on soldering/electronics troubleshooting experience.
- Understanding of PC architecture, BIOS/UEFI, drivers, ACPI, and operating systems.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.
- Experience with CPU/GPU, motherboard, PCB, or semiconductor lab testing is a plus.
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
