Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Child Care Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for nurturing young minds and creating a safe, engaging, and educational environment for children. This role involves working with infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children, providing them with the care and support they need to thrive in their early developmental stages.
Duties
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote cognitive, social, and emotional development.
- Supervise and engage children in daily activities, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
- Foster a positive learning environment that encourages curiosity and exploration.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns that may arise.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the classroom and play areas.
- Collaborate with colleagues to create a supportive team atmosphere.
- Provide care for infants and toddlers, including diapering, feeding, and comforting as needed.
- Adapt teaching methods to accommodate children with special needs or disabilities.
Skills
- Experience working with children in a daycare or educational setting is essential.
- Knowledge of infant care practices is preferred.
- Familiarity with toddler care techniques to support developmental milestones.
- Ability to educate children through engaging activities tailored to their age group.
- Experience working with students of varying abilities, including those with disabilities or special education needs.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
