Professional Movers, Helpers and Packers
Moving, packing, wrapping, inventory and transport of household goods and commercial equipment for residential and commercial customers.
- Starting pay $15-17 per hour, paid weekly
- Full-time, Monday through Friday, overtime available
- Dress Code: Uniforms Provided
Essential Duties:
- Follow instructions from crew leaders and supervisors and adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety rules.
- Lift, carry, and load household goods and commercial items into moving trucks, warehouse vaults, and overseas crates for transport to and from customer locations, including up and down stairs.
- Pad-wrap furniture and securely pack items into moving cartons with care to ensure items are undamaged while properly utilizing moving equipment and established best practices.
- Prepare written inventories to include descriptions of items, quantities, contents and pack date, to ensure no items are lost during transportation.
- Deliver, unload, unpack, and correctly place household goods and commercial items inside customer homes and business facilities.
- Perform other duties as assigned, including work at warehouse.
- Represent the company in a professional manner and ensure a positive customer experience.
Requirements:
- Moving industry experience preferred
- Be punctual, hard-working, and reliable
- Wear company approved uniform and maintain a clean and professional appearance
- Be able to lift and carry objects up to 100 pounds with or without assistance.
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check
