Duties
- Engage with customers in person, providing expert guidance on products and services to meet their needs.
- Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of pricing strategies, product features, and promotional offers to effectively upsell and maximize sales opportunities.
- Drive company vehicles safely along designated routes, ensuring timely delivery of products while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Conduct route driving efficiently, managing schedules to optimize daily sales visits and customer interactions.
- Perform merchandising tasks by setting up displays, organizing stock, and ensuring product presentation aligns with brand standards.
- Assist customers with inquiries related to sales, pricing, and product specifications through clear and positive communication skills.
- Handle heavy lifting when necessary to load or unload inventory, maintaining safety protocols at all times.
- Demonstrate organizational skills by maintaining accurate records of sales activities, route logs, and inventory levels.
- Apply military discipline and teamwork principles to ensure punctuality, reliability, and a high level of professionalism in all tasks.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in sales or customer service roles with strong communication skills.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience in commercial driving is highly desirable.
- Ability to perform math calculations accurately for pricing adjustments and order processing.
- Knowledge of upselling techniques to increase sales volume effectively.
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting tasks regularly throughout the day.
- Excellent organizational skills for route planning, inventory management, and record keeping.
- Prior military experience is a plus, demonstrating discipline, teamwork, and adaptability.
- Familiarity with merchandising standards and customer service best practices is preferred.
