We are seeking a reliable, compassionate, and detail-oriented Radiology/X-Ray Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will assist with patient care, room preparation, documentation, and daily radiology department operations while providing a professional and welcoming experience for every patient.
Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for X-ray and radiology procedures.
- Assist technologists with patient positioning and safe transfers.
- Assist patients to and from their exam rooms.
- Prepare and maintain radiology rooms and equipment.
- Follow infection-control, radiation-safety, and patient-safety procedures.
- Assist with patient flow, scheduling, and basic administrative duties as needed.
- Maintain accurate patient information and documentation.
- Communicate professionally with patients, physicians, technologists, and staff.
- Keep examination areas clean, organized, and properly stocked.
Qualifications
- Strong communication and customer-service skills.
- Comfortable working with patients of all ages and abilities.
- Dependable, organized, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
- Previous healthcare experience is a plus.
- Aspiring radiology students and students pursuing a career in medical imaging are encouraged to apply.
Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
