We are seeking a dedicated Building & Vending Maintenance Technician to join our team in Columbia, SC.
This role is essential in ensuring the optimal operation, safety, and reliability of building systems and vending equipment across our facilities.The ideal candidate will have knowledge of vending machines and electronic equipment.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on building systems and vending machines
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues using schematics, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools; conduct electrical equipment repairs safely and efficiently.
- Maintenance activities for vending machines, ensuring proper functioning and timely repairs.
- Troubleshoot using blueprints & schematics
- Travel around the state (in company vehicle) performing repairs and maintenance
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance
- Knowledge of schematics interpretation, electrical equipment repair, and use of diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters.
- Strong mechanical knowledge combined with electrical experience to troubleshoot diverse systems effectively.
- Ability to read technical schematics accurately and follow safety procedures diligently.
- Clean driving record
Hours: M-F 8a-5p (on call 1 weekend a month)
Pay: $20.51
