Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and personable Cashier/Receptionist to join our team! In this vital role, you will be the friendly face and first point of contact for customers, ensuring a positive experience from the moment they walk through the door. Your energetic approach will help maintain a welcoming environment while efficiently managing financial transactions and administrative tasks.
Duties
- Greet visitors warmly and professionally, providing excellent customer service and answering inquiries with enthusiasm
- Handle all cashier responsibilities, including processing payments accurately using point-of-sale systems and issuing receipts
- Assemble to-go bags, double check orders for accuracy, and add fortune cookies, utensils and sauces
- keep the front counter, waiting area, and drink station clean, stocked and organized
Qualifications
- Bilingual skills are highly desirable to effectively communicate with diverse clients and visitors
- basic math skills, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting
- prior restaurant cashier or customer service experience is a plus, but training will be provided
- Excellent customer service abilities with a friendly demeanor and strong communication skills
- Ability to stand for long shifts and lift light boxes or bags of supplies
Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
