Skilled Carpenter
3BLC is an employee-owned residential construction company in Seattle committed to social, economic, and environmental sustainability. We’re looking for a Skilled Carpenter to join our team.
In this role, you’ll be hands-on in the field, working on a variety of projects with a collaborative, inclusive team. The ideal candidate has:
- 5+ years of carpentry experience
- Reliable transportation and their own tools
- A passion for sustainable construction — i.e., building science, energy and water efficiency, and materials chosen for low carbon impact and healthy indoor air quality, all built to go beyond code standards
Pay is hourly (between $30 and $50/hr) based on skills and experience.
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of carpentry experience (rough through finish)
- Ability to read plans and work confidently with tools
- Proficiency with a variety of carpentry methods and techniques
- Safety-first mindset
- Team-oriented, collaborative, and fun to work with
- Solid work ethic and good physical condition
