The Warehouse Associate/Receiving person in this position is responsible for providing extraordinary service to both external and internal clients. The Warehouse Associate/Receiving is also responsible for performing manual labor tasks associated with receiving, storing, inventorying, and issuing materials, supplies, and assets delivered to and shipped from St Louis, MO.
- Accurately receive and stock material in designated areas, record overstock locations.
- Enter receipt to WMS system.
- Communicate discrepancies in a timely manner to appropriate personnel.
- Assist in unloading shipping containers.
- Cycle counts SKUs in the warehouse on a daily / weekly / annually basis in the warehouse.
- Ensure that all warehouse areas are clean and safe.
- Adheres to appropriate policies and procedures in all warehouse tasks.
- Perform other duties, as assigned.
What are we looking for?
- Must be able to bend, carry, squat, stand, twist and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Detail-oriented and able to stay focused on repetitive tasks for long periods of time.
- Basic computer knowledge and ability to operate a warehouse handheld computer.
- Operation of manual and electric pallet jack.
- Experience in a fast-paced Distribution / Fulfillment center is a plus.
- Knowledge of musical instruments/accessories is a plus.
- These skills and abilities are typically acquired through high school graduation or equivalent, as well as through work experience in a warehouse environment.
