Job Title: Shipping & Receiving Associate – 2nd Shift
Location: Grove, OK
Employment Type: Full-time
Shift: Monday–Friday, 4:00pm–1:30am
Summary of the Role:
The Shipping & Receiving Associate is responsible for receiving, inspecting, organizing, and shipping materials in a warehouse environment. This position requires attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to safely handle inventory while supporting daily warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming materials and compare packing slips to purchase orders to verify shipment accuracy.
- Sort, count, package, label, and log inventory that is shipped or received.
- Prepare outgoing shipments according to company procedures.
- Inspect shipments for damages or defects and report discrepancies to supervisors or purchasing personnel.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and documentation.
- Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks, dollies, and forklifts as needed.
- Follow established departmental policies, safety procedures, and quality standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
Required Skills:
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to accurately complete shipping and receiving documentation.
- Ability to lift and move materials throughout the shift.
- Experience operating pallet jacks and forklifts preferred.
- Basic computer and inventory tracking skills preferred.
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
- Previous warehouse, shipping, or receiving experience preferred.
Compensation:
$14.00 per hour
