If you’re someone who can organize, prioritize, and keep operations running smoothly while using sound judgment and initiative, this is your opportunity to make a visible impact in the community every day.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONSLead and coordinate daily maintenance operations, including scheduling and supervising staff; provide hands-on technical guidance across facility, grounds, and field upkeep; prioritize and inspect work to ensure quality, safety, and efficiency; manage projects from planning through completion, including coordinating contractors and resources; and maintain equipment, support team training, and deliver excellent customer service while ensuring compliance with safety standards.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
Education and Experience: An equivalent combination of relevant training, education and experience: High school diploma or equivalent with some vocational or technical training in one or more building trades.Two (2) years of experience in moderately large-scale custodial, park and building maintenance.Licenses and/or Certificates: Must maintain a valid driver’s license.Must obtain and maintain the following certifications and licensures: Positions assigned to Parks: Within eighteen (18) months of position assignment: Playground Safety Inspector from National Recreation and Park AssociationWithin one (1) year of position assignment: Aerial Lift certification
