Silver Shield Investigations is seeking experienced, reliable, and professional Private Investigators to join our growing team throughout the five boroughs of New York City.
This is an excellent opportunity for retired law enforcement, experienced investigators, military veterans, and licensed private investigators looking for flexible assignments.
Responsibilities
- Surveillance assignments
- Background investigations
- Locate and skip-trace investigations
- Witness interviews
- Insurance and fraud investigations
- Domestic investigations
- Detailed report writing
- Photo and video documentation
Requirements
- New York State Private Investigator license or ability to legally work under our agency license (where applicable)
- Reliable vehicle
- Valid driver's license
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Strong written communication skills
- Ability to work evenings and weekends when necessary
- Experience with surveillance preferred
- Preferred Qualifications

- Loss prevention experience
- Investigative experience
