Purpose: The Induction Braze Technician performs precision induction brazing, soldering, leak testing, and assembly operations to manufacture high-quality aerospace products that meet engineering, customer, and regulatory requirements.
Job Responsibilities:
· Set up and operate induction brazing equipment, tooling, and fixtures to produce high-quality assemblies in accordance with engineering drawings, work instructions, and customer requirements.
· Perform precision brazing, soldering, hand-tinning, and related assembly operations using approved materials, processes, and workmanship standards.
· Inspect work throughout the manufacturing process to ensure compliance with quality, dimensional, and workmanship requirements.
· Operate helium leak test equipment and associated fixtures to verify product conformity to engineering and customer specifications.
· Support the development, qualification, and continuous improvement of brazing processes, tooling, fixtures, and manufacturing techniques.
· Read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, travelers, and work instructions to ensure accurate product assembly.
· Properly handle sensitive electrical, mechanical, and aerospace components while maintaining product integrity and traceability.
· Maintain equipment, tooling, work areas, and process documentation in a safe, organized, and production-ready condition.
· Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality personnel to resolve production issues and improve process capability.
· Accurately complete manufacturing records, router signoffs, and quality documentation required for product acceptance.
· Follow all company safety policies, quality procedures, and applicable customer and regulatory requirements.
· Perform other duties as assigned in support of manufacturing operations.
Required Skills/Qualifications:
· Minimum two years of experience in induction brazing, soldering, precision assembly, or related aerospace manufacturing processes.
· Working knowledge of induction heating principles, brazing alloys, solder alloys, and associated fluxes.
· Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, work instructions, and customer specifications.
· Experience using precision measuring equipment and inspection tools.
· Ability to safely operate induction brazing equipment, leak test equipment, hand tools, and other manufacturing equipment.
· Familiarity with AS9100, ISO 9001, or other regulated manufacturing environments preferred.
· Strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and commitment to producing high-quality work.
· High School diploma or equivalent; technical training in manufacturing or welding/brazing is a plus.

· Sign off routers indicating work performed.
Physical Requirements:
· Must be able to perform visual inspections of tools and product.
· Able to fit and wear a respirator for extended periods.
· Able to lift 40lbs.
· Able to stand or sit for long periods.
