Join our vibrant hospitality team as a Hotel Front Desk Clerk, where your energetic and welcoming attitude will set the tone for an exceptional guest experience. In this dynamic role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring smooth check-ins and check-outs, providing outstanding customer service, and managing guest inquiries with professionalism and enthusiasm. Your multitasking skills and hospitality expertise will contribute to creating a memorable stay for every visitor. This paid position offers a fantastic opportunity to develop your hotel skills. This position is for (2) 3:30PM-11:30PM and (2) 11:30PM-7:30AM shifts.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing a friendly and efficient check-in process
- Manage guest reservations, cancellations, and modifications using multi-line phone systems and hotel management software
- Handle guest requests and inquiries promptly, ensuring their needs are met with a positive attitude
- Maintain accurate records of guest information, billing details, and room assignments
- Assist with night audit procedures, balancing accounts and preparing reports to ensure financial accuracy
- Provide exceptional guest services by addressing concerns, offering local information, and fostering guest relations
- Uphold phone etiquette standards when communicating with guests and team members across multi-line systems
Requirements
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse clientele effectively
- Knowledge of hotel systems and night audit procedures preferred
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with professional phone etiquette
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Prior hotel experience or background in hospitality is preferred
